PLEASE NOTE – DUE TO RETIREMENT, WE WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY NEW PATIENTS IN FROM 1ST JULY 2022 – WE WILL STILL BE CARING FOR THE REMAINDER 75 PATIENTS IN OUR CARE UNTIL RELEASE AND WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE ADVICE.

We have many years’ experience treating hedgehog patients, and have rescued over 4000 in the past, always releasing the hogs back to site or, if not suitable, to another researched safe area where they can thrive and prosper.

We have moved to larger premises in Daccombe, near Coffinswell, Newton Abbot and now have more room for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs. We work with local vets for the operations and X-rays required and any medicine advice needed but carry out most treatment on site. We rely on our supporters and donations to keep the hospital running as there is no government funding available for this care.

Our address is South Devon Hedgehog Hospital, Pathfields, Daccombe, Newton Abbot. TQ12 4ST (use google maps rather than a sat nav)

If you need advice on a hedgehog, please call us on 07716 768618, 9am – 8pm
